Helga's ease with the situation probably does wonders too for not making it look too weird. The lobby is mostly empty at least except for one tired looking woman manning the dorm's front desk. And once she flicks her eyes up and catches Helga replying to Larry's question she seems to immediately dismiss any concerns about either of them. Maybe she's having more trouble keeping awake than anything else.

Helga has her hands tucked in her pockets as they wind their way inside and toward the elevators. She stops just as they reach the twin sets of elevators before she gestures her head toward the left one, glancing back at Larry.

"Okay for one? This elevator here. Some of the others around here were talking about it and I sort of shrugged it off. It's got a tendency though of stopping on the fifth floor -- mechanical malfunction, whatever."

She pauses there, poking the up button as she continues.

"It's nothing exactly ghastly I guess but they say one of the girls who vanished was on that floor. Or that's the gossip at any rate. So one night I thought I'd take a trip to the fifth floor, just to see what happens."

And because despite being just a little afraid of ghosts Helga just can't help but nose around sometimes. There was chatter, then the news report and the soft-hearted part of her had mostly wanted to make sure the floor was safe. Y'know, no creeps like Larry skulking around?
